Purchased in 1946 by George Thienpont, the Patriarch of the Thienpont family in Bordeaux, this superb property dominates the appellation. It wasn’t until 1970 that the real work began on restoring the vineyards but by the mid 80’s the property was already a force to be reckoned with. In 2005 all the Cabernet Sauvignon was replaced by Cabernet Franc a variety that ripens earlier and much better suited to the terroir. Now guided by arguably the World most famous winemaking duo, Nicolas Thienpont and Stephane Derenoncourt the wines they produce here from a blend of 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc & 5% Malbec are full and voluptuous.

The Rose is produced from 100% Merlot and has a ripe raspberry and red cherry nose, in the mouth the wine is clean and fresh with lots of red fruits and clean acidity, perfect for enjoying on a sunny Singapore afternoon.
