Description
Soumah ‘d’Soumah’ Nebbiolo-Barbera 2018
The classic pairing of two noble north eastern Italian varieties combine here to create a savoury, elegant red wine with soft fruit and charming length. This Nebbiolo brings excellent tannin structure and finesse with aromas of wild herbs and violets, while the Barbera compliments with ripe, red berry flavours and velvety mouth feel.

Lovely N.Italian blend from the irrepressible Soumah in Oz. Some elegant notes of red cherries, black cherries, raspberry, chocolate, vanilla and clove. High acidity (from the cooler climate), some crunchy tannins and a medium finish.

Goodness, 2 years since I had this last (same vintage). Italian grapes meet Yarra Valley. Very dependable producer with some very good wines in its table. Pronounced notes of blackcurrant, black cherry, chalk, minerality, red currant, cranberry, coffee and cooked blackcurrant. High acidity, med abv, med bodied, crunchy med tannins and a med+ finish.
