Description
93pts – Robert Parker -‘The Wine Advocate’
A limited cuvee produced from 109, 127, & 152-year-old vineyards, this 2003 Shiraz was aged 24 months in a combination of new French & American wood as well as a small amount of older oak. Huge, ripe, surprisingly subtle & polished, this dense purple-hued wine offers layers of blackberry & currant fruit intermingled with spicy new oak, licorice, cedar, & loamy soil characteristics. Full-bodied & voluptuous, but not over the top, this beauty should drink well for years.
