“The 2005 Syrah Liandra Vineyard was sourced from 100-year-old vines. It is a glass-coating, deep crimson color with aromas of smoke, grilled meat, tar, & blackberry. Full-bodied, opulent, & layered, it neatly conceals its structure.” – Robert Parker

“Full of dense chocolate & plumcake aromas and flavors, this is a full-bodied, creamy, rich wine, perked up by hints of orange zest & spice. It’s mouthfilling & round, yet promises to reveal more complexity with several years in the cellar. Drink 2015–2025.” – Wine Enthusiast

“Firm and focused, this is rich with plum, blueberry and exotic spices, finishing with a tarry note that plays against amazingly persistent fruit. The tannins are fine. Best from 2010 through 2020.” – Wine Spectator

Colour: Blackened crimson and deep purple

Nose: Lifted bacon fat and roast meats greet you on arrival. Deep undertones of blackcurrant and powerful spices offer dimensional contrast.

Palate: Sexy amalgamation of richness defined by great balance, positioned acidity and lengthy tannins. The incredible mid-palate weight provides an excellent length of intensity and considerable nuance pursues. The Palate appears less intense as the nose indicates.

Alcohol: 14.5%
