Tim Adams’ Mr. Mick’ Shiraz
Tim Adams is one of the Clare Valley’s most well-known and respected winemakers, so it’s no surprise that his ‘Mr. Mick’ Shiraz is one of the region’s most popular wines. The 2017 vintage was sourced from selected premium vineyards throughout the valley, and Tim used a mild pump-over regime to extract maximum flavor from the grapes. The wine was matured in predominantly American oak for 24 months before being fined, filtered, and bottled. The result is a full-bodied Shiraz with plenty of fruit characters and a soft, round mouthfeel. It’s an easy-drinking wine that’s perfect for any occasion.
Clare Valley Shiraz has enthralled wine enthusiasts with its power and elegant synergy. This wine is a wonderful example of the style; elegant yet robust enough to enjoy on its own or with a wide range of meals.
This full-bodied red wine has aromas of lifted violet, blueberry, and raspberry fruit with undertones of creamy vanilla due to American oak maturation. The rounded flavor is rich in dark cherry and ripe raspberry notes with herb and spice nuances in the smooth finish.
