Description
Our twenty-second release of The Fergus is named after our neighbor who was good enough to sell us his Grenache grapes in the vintage of 1993, during a desperate shortage of Shiraz and Cabernet.
We quickly realized that a wine born from logistics had real potential as a medium, but soft style with immediate food compatibility.

Good value blend from the irrepressible Tim Adams. Some sumptuous raspberry, blackcurrant, blackberry notes coupled with stone, vanilla and chocolate. The oak is not too heavy which is good. Decent backbone and acidity, the tannins are nice and racy to provide that crunch. Good finish.
