Tulloch Vineyard Selection Shiraz 2018
Light- to medium-bodied red, cherried and spicy with a dark, leathery edge. It has an easy appeal, nothing’s been tricked or sweetened up, it just is what it is. All about the fruit. – James Halliday

Very easy drinking Shiraz which is from select vineyards in Hunter Valley, Hilltops and Central Ranges in NSW. I say east drinking but this belies some complexity in its structure. Some lovely pronounced red currant, red cherry, raspberry and black cherry flavours and aromas complemented by a touch of chocolate and coffee. The oak is very subtle. The acidity is still relatively high and the tannins slightly crunchy providing some character. Finish is medium+ with some lingering red berries. Great value
