An approachable wine, this Shiraz Cabernet drinks well now and will reward those who are patient to cellar it over the next 8 to 10 years. It has been meticulously crafted to preserve the ripe fruit characteristics such as blackcurrant, blackberry and bring forth spice notes. Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon are from the estate’s old vineyards, which were planted in the 1940s and 1980s respectively. Open-top fermented and matured in a combination of new and second use French oak for 18 months.
