91pts – James Halliday

Battle of Bosworth Organic Cabernet Sauvignon 2017, On the nose blackcurrant / cassis & herbal notes intertwined with delicate whiffs of char (from the oak barrels). On the palate blackcurrant & blackberry over powdery tannins, spice & tar. This wine has great length & structure where the fruit more than matches the fine tannin structure. Another terrific Bosworth Cabernet.

“… good color, line & length, with cassis / blackcurrant juicy fruit lifting the finish as much as tannins.” – James Halliday

  1. Emma

The flavor of this wine is lovely and medium-bodied. I’ve tried the Shiraz and it’s a similar easy-drinking bottle. A little light on the nose, with a smooth yet delicate taste. Serve with grilled fish or chicken, and you’ll have yourself an excellent meal!

  2. Deshaun

The red wine has a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity. Dark red color. Aromas of blackberry, cassis, plum, and black olive. A subtle mint note tones down the rich chocolate flavor. Tannic finish is soft yet firm.

  3. Zanderson

A fantastic example of a Cabernet Sauvignon is something I really liked. This is a delicious blackberry and black cherry blend with a touch of blackcurrant. It’s a bigger drop, which I enjoy.

  4. Sandra

This is the most natural wine I’ve had in a long time. This wine is well-crafted and good. With some menthol eucalyptus clay and restrained oak notes, there are plenty of blueberry plum black olive scents. Fine-grained tannins bring a fruity flavor to food.

  5. Brian

Slightly moist, with a rich taste. A fragrant undertone. It’s a fantastic opportunity to try it again and again. We’ll balance the acidity and provide a full-bodied mouthfeel. The finish is medium in length.
