Very interesting and peppery, herby PN from Martinborough. Some lovely notes of raspberry, red cherry, cedar, thyme, black pepper, fennel, white pepper, eucalyptus, celery seed and garrigue. It’s the fennel that is quite powerfully overt. Very unusual but it works. A high level of acidity is present with some grippy and angular tannins. Med body and alcohol with a long finish.
