Veuve Clicquot Brut NV France Champagne, 750ml

Great price, best in Singapore. However very disappointed with the delivery. Granted the doorbell was rung (we were out and the person at home didn’t hear it from their room), other neighbour's bell was called too. However just leaving $800 worth of champagne in a basement carpark and driving off is not acceptable. I received a phone call after this was left behind and the driver already left. Perhaps a text or call prior to delivery would’ve been more considerate.

Let’s be honest - you can’t get much classier than Veuve. You show up for dinner at a friend’s house with a bottle of this, and it’s an instant repeat invitation, unless you get drunk and swing off the lights and / or dance on the table in which case, it’s all on you if they don’t ask you back. Then you either need new friends or counselling. Or both. Apple, grapefruit, vanilla. Delicious.
