What makes Benchmark Wines different?Founded by Australian entrepreneur Rob Lockett and reknowned restaurateur Michael Hadley, Benchmark Wines sources our wines directly and in person from each vineyard. Every wine in our portfolio has been personally selected, often from small, high-quality and highly-praised family-owned vineyards in Australia, the US, France, Italy, and New Zealand. This enables Benchmark Wine to offer our customers a wide selection of carefully chosen wines, at unparalleled value. Do you have a physical retail location?Benchmark Wines operates on an e-commerce platform only. We have no retail space in the traditional sense, but instead operate from our wine depot at Malcolm Road from where our customers can easily pick up their selected wines or choose to have them delivered. Do you only carry wines from a certain country?Benchmark Wines stocks wines from vineyards in Australia, the US, France, Italy, and New Zealand but we are constantly on the lookout for more wines to expand our cellars. Our practice is to taste the wines we buy, so that we can be sure we are offering our customers wines that we are confident they will love as much as we do!
