Cabalié 2024 is a sumptuous, fruit-forward red crafted by winemaker Hervé Sabardeil. Inspired by the powerful wines that reportedly bolstered Roman soldiers, it is produced from some of the oldest, low-yielding vines in southern France. This concentration of fruit results in a deep, velvety texture with intense aromas of sun-drenched red berries, black cherry, and wild herbs. On the palate, it offers generous layers of chocolate and spicy blackberry, finishing with a smooth, lingering richness that makes it exceptionally drinkable both on its own and paired with hearty fare like barbecue or aged cheeses.
