This wine is made from the Brachetto grape, an ancient Italian variety that is rarely planted in Australia. The Tranquillo method used to make this wine results in a delightfully still, dessert-style wine with a little lower alcohol and a fresh, clean finish. The wine has aromas of candied strawberries and mandarin flowers, with delicate flavors of rose petals and strawberries that carry through to the palate. It is perfect after dinner with berries, fruit pies, or soft cheeses.
