Description:
A hero variety of the Barossa Valley, this Single Vineyard Shiraz was handpicked from a small parcel harvested from the estate's 35-year-old Shiraz "Old Vines" block. Aimed to strike the right balance of flavour and acidity in the final wine, it was crafted with extra care in open-top fermenters and aged in a mix of new and old French barrels for 18 months. This created an optimal tannin profile and preserved the intensity of dark fruit and spice characters.
